In our farming business's (over 60 in Ukraine and several in Russia), we follow and implement the "Sustainable Principles and Practices" as laid down by the SAI Platform.
We focus in particular on the following techniques:
- sound crop rotational practice (appropriate for the particular farming region);
- sensible water conservation in cultivation practice (minimum till and no-till);
- reduced pesticide and fertiliser applications (strictly regulated on a per crop usage).
Social issues run parallel with contributions to the local community made on an annual basis. We also participate in comprehensive training of our workforce in modern agri practices.
