The Sustainable Agriculture Initiative (SAI) Platform is celebrating its 10th Anniversary on May 2-4 in Evian, France. 40+ member companies are attending the event to discuss the challenges and opportunities related to sustainable sourcing, and ways for the food chain to address them further.
This is the only event of its kind, bringing together, in a pre-competitive environment, managers and executives from a wide range of food companies. All are willing to identify sustainable sourcing solutions in the same way that member representatives have been doing for ten years now, in SAI Platform working groups.
Speakers on the first day will include Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, Chairman, Nestlé; Marc Engel, Chief Procurement Officer, Unilever; and Emmanuel Faber, Co-Chief Operating Officer, Danone. The full programme is attached.
Non-member food companies interested in joining us in Evian may contact us at efellus AT saiplatform.org by end March, 2012.
