The event will bring together a wide range of stakeholders to discuss a number of the key issues which face Europe’s food and drink manufacturers in the course of the next decade and beyond. These discussions will take into consideration the need to maintain and further boost the competitiveness of Europe’s food and drink industry.

This year, we are reaching out to an even wider global audience, welcoming several keynote speakers from the EU and beyond, as well as a host of major stakeholders from across the political and civil society spectrum, in addition to members of the press. The Congress will comprise of 4 panel sessions over 2 half-days and will address the following topics:
Food for the future
Health and wellbeing
Planet and environmental sustainability
A Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of day 1 of the Congress at the prestigious venue, Musées Royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique, which is one of the most beautiful and historical in Brussels. Our guest speaker for the dinner will provide some insights into what is needed in order to deliver the ‘Innovation Union’, an integral pillar of the EU 2020 Strategy.
A wrap-up session on day 2 will conclude the event by addressing the outcomes and suggestions of previous sessions identifying workable solutions based on efforts already being undertaken and stressing the importance of trust in the food and drink industry.
