SAI Platform/IMD Master Class on Sustainable Sourcing - next edition taking place on 4-5 June 2015, in Lausanne, Switzerland
This exciting and interactive training and learning opportunity helps participants develop realistic and practicable implementation approaches to meet companies’ sustainable sourcing targets for agricultural raw materials.
The November 2014 edition of this class was a great success and feed-back from participants ranged from “very useful and insightful” to “we learned especially from the interaction and discussion among participants and speakers”, to “it was such a good course, and there was so much to absorb, that I hope to be able to come back next year”.
The class, featuring real-life cases presented by a variety of speakers from different organizations, is based on the framework and steps of the “Practitioner’s Guide to Sustainable Sourcing of Agricultural Raw Materials”, developed by SAI Platform together with IMD, ITC, and IDH, with support from the Sustainable Food Lab, Business for Social Responsibility and SEDEX.
It represents a great way to learn almost everything about developing a business case, effective implementation and engagement processes, SAI Platform and other tools available to help you implement sustainable sourcing targets, and ways to overcome challenges.
- The Master Class is open to everyone – with a discount for SAI Platform members. Note that the number of seats is limited, and we will accept participants on a firs come first serve basis.
